Mac or PC? The age old debate!

I have been a PC user for around the past 15 years, give or take. I literally use my computer for e-mail, spreadsheets a little bit of word processing and web development. Nothing too heavy, nothing out of the ordinary but my PC just can’t seem to handle it, more to the point, Windows Vista can’t. My laptop has the same problem and I, like millions of others, am growing increasingly tired of constant application crashes, poor usability and general speed issues. So, with that said, I am about to make the jump over to Apple. With my laptop anyway. There are so many laptop computers out there these days, all with a wide range of specs from a wide range of manufacturers, but one problem, they all run Vista. I think whatever system I buy, regardless of spec, I am going to run into issues. I have heard nothing put praise for Apple systems so I am going to make the switch. Let’s hope they really do make the best laptops! I have still not decided which system to go for, I am favouring the Macbook Pro but can’t decide whether to go for the 15″ or the 17″. A 17 laptop would be ideal for me but I wouldn’t fancy dragging it to the office every day. Let’s hope regardless of which one I go for, I don’t experience the regular crashes I am prone to currently!

Laptop computers run on a single battery that can be charged again and again with the help of external AC/DC adapter; an adapter charges your battery and also gives constant power supply to your laptop.

Laptops have inbuilt keyboard and touch pad or trackball to function like a regular mouse, however there is a provision for a regular mouse in the serial ports of laptop. Laptops or notebook portable computers usually have 1 GB of random access memory, 160GB hard disk drive, dual core processor etc. Window Vista is the best-suited operating system for laptop computers.

A laptop computer is a bit more expensive than a desktop computer, but the benefits of laptops outweigh those of a desktop. It lets you work anywhere you want and gives you opportunity to redefine your business for growth. A laptop is the order of the day for any business entrepreneur.
